WalletConnect

WalletConnect is an open-source protocol that uses Web3 to connect dapps. Integrated into our app, the protocol can connect other web3 services and allows signing Ethereum transactions using Guarda mobile app. 

How does it work?

WalletConnect protocol connects decentralized applications using a bridge server. The two apps connect with an inviting deeplink or QR code. This connection is encrypted. More info here. 

How to connect wallets

Open Guarda mobile app and go to settings. Click "WalletConnect". Scan the QR code. Then you need to select the ETH wallet. Confirm the connection by clicking "Approve".

Incoming request

All incoming requests will be listed in the "WalletConnect" tab. You will see the line "Action required". Click on the request to see details.

There are 3 types of requests:

1. Request for ETH
2. Sign message
3. Sign data

Check all the details before approving the request.

Disconnect

The connection will be enabled until you disable it by clicking "Disconnect". Therefore, you can freely manage your tabs on your phone and not connect the wallet every time.
